With the art project #DailySocialTransfer I am reacting to the abundance of news that reaches us each day from all over the world. Since 01.01.2017 I am buying a newspaper every day to then apply adhesive tape to the surface of images and text fragments of interest to me, so as to extract them from their original contexts. Subsequently I have rearranged these fragments on drawing paper, creating a collage. These art pieces are being dated, signed and labelled with a special embossing: the hashtag DailySocialTransfer – as well as a headline of the day selected by me as the title. In this way, daily a unique work of art is produced that critically responds to many of the news items published around the globe.

Mit meiner neuesten Kunstaktion #DailySocialTransfer reagiere ich auf die Flut an Nachrichten, die uns täglich aus aller Welt erreicht. Seit 01.01.2017 kaufe jeden Tag eine Zeitung, klebe Tapes ein und löse Bild- und Textfragmente aus ihr heraus. Dann füge ich die Fragmente auf Zeichenpapier neu zusammen, sodass eine Collage entsteht. Diese Kunstwerke werden datiert, signiert und erhalten eine eigene Prägung: den Hashtag DailySocialTransfer, sowie eine von mir ausgewählte Schlagzeile des Tages als Titel. So entsteht Tag für Tag ein Unikat, das die Nachrichtenflut in Einzelteile bricht und künstlerisch reflektiert.
